Frequency of Urological Carcinomas in Patients with Gross Haematuria

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the frequency urological carcinomas in patients with gross haematuria. Study Design: Prospective Place and Duration : Department Urology, PIMS Islamabad, from December, 2021 May, 2022. Methods: There were one hundred forty five ages 20-55 years presented study. All included had blood urine. After receiving informed written permission, detailed demographic information about recruited patients, including age, gender, body mass index, causes haematuria, was compiled. Urine cytology microscopy used rule out presence malignant cells Every time a cystoscopy or computed tomography (CT) scan needed monitor health our we sent them for an ultrasound. Frequency calculated. SPSS 22.0 analyze all data Results: 90 (62.1%) males 55 (37.9%) females Mean age 41.8±5.54 mean BMI 24.5±4.76 kg/m2. 80 (55.2%) literate. Most common cause urinary tract infection found 50 (34.5%) cases, trauma 45 (31.03%), urolithiasis 30 (20.7%) cases smoking 20 (13.8%) patients. Prevalence carcinoma 27 (18.6%) cases.
